Does Size Really Matter?

I'm talking about wedding celebrations of course! The last few months have been an up and down struggle with guestlists and budgets. Do we want a 350 guest 3-ring-circus complete with fancy dresses and everyone we love or 15 of our nearest and dearest to join us for vows and lunch? Are we going to enjoy it better if we spend $10,000 vs $1,000? It's even been suggested that we take out a loan to cover our costs, but do we really NEED anything that we can't afford to buy upfront?

Help!

NO! But I had about 200 and my wedding and we only spent a few hundred. It can be done, and Sam's Club was a huge help for flowers and food (you can actually order flowers ahead of time from Sam's). Have a big party if you want to, but DO NOT spend more than you can easily afford. Couples fight about money (debt) more than almost anything else. Set yourself up for success, not failure!
